Join * Music Conference Alberta (MCA) in a Piano Four Hands Masterclass with renowned pianists Jacques Després and Viktoria Reiswich-Dapp.
Pianist Jacques C. Després has concertized for four decades on three continents. Since his 1978 debut with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, Després appeared as a soloist with numerous orchestras. A leading lecture-performance artist, Després has been invited to numerous schools in North America and Asia, including the Juilliard School and Central Conservatory of China (Beijing). He has been a Professor of Music at the University of Alberta since 2005.
Viktoria Reiswich-Dapp honed her skills at the University of Music in Karlsruhe, the University of Music Frankfurt/Main, and the University of Alberta from where she holds a Doctor of Music degree in piano performance. Her artistry across a wide range of genres and styles earned her recognition for her performances around the world and makes her a regular guest at New Music festivals and international conferences.
These sessions are proudly presented by the Alberta Music Education Foundation (AMEF).
Applications are being accepted from students throughout the province of Alberta.

ARMTA invites advanced piano students (minimum grade 10) to apply to participate in a masterclass with prolific world-class pianist Krzysztof Jablonski, 1985 Laureate and now jury member of the F. Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw. Participants will experience the artistic depth of this prolific world-class pianist and benefit from the skills and insights gained in a career spanning more than 30 years and earning him top prizes at international piano competitions in Milan, Palm Beach, Monza, Dublin, Calgary, as well as a Gold Medal at the A. Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition in Tel Aviv.
There is a $10 participant fee to be received at the event. Participants (and one guardian) are granted a one day conference registration for Saturday by Music Conference Alberta. Participants are responsible for their own transportation and expenses.
Applications are due September 3, 2018.
Applicants will be confirmed by September 14, 2018. In the event that more applications are received than spots available, students will be chosen based on their repertoire. Participant fees will be refunded to those unable to participate.
A maximum of 1 application per teacher will be accepted.
Each student should have 15-20 minutes with Mr. Jablonski.
